    888 front bumper problem

    Hi i hope i havent put this in the wrong room , or reposted, iv used the search option but cant find any help

    i own a 888 coupe, and the front bumper clip seems to have broke on the one side, i was told this is a common problem on coupe's, does anyone know what i need to do to fix it?

    any help GREATLY appreciated

    You can get the clips from vauxhall. It comes with the bit that hooks on below the wing. IIRC they are about £10 a side
    It would definitely go better with an engine in it

    thinking about, it what bit has broken? Is it the little bit that sticks out where the bolt goes through or the bit that clips under the wing cos you dont get the bolt bit with that

    Ya ******.... thats just like whats happening to mine.. pops out a mill further on the drivers side but a give it a little knock and it goes back in.. but pops out again... a blamed the upstairs neighbour tae as a thought she knudged into ma bumper deliberate last week!!! oooppss.

    As far as I know you cant get that bit seperate from the bumper. Its the bit further along where it clips onto the bottom of the wing you can buy. On mine I bolted a little bracket over the top and used a couple of washers for the screw and it seems to be Ok now

    If this is the bit you're having trouble with its an easy fix. All you have to do is fit the bumper into its proper seating position and drill a fresh screw hole next to the original hole........ new screw.... sorted!!

    This is what had to be done on my bumper.....
