    Astra MK4 1999 Juddery Idle

Hi, mate of mine had got a MK4 astra on a 99 T, it's a 1600, it's had new plugs and ht leads, it's got a juddery idle, but is better when revved up. I've not had a look at the car personally so can't be more exact any ideas.

    Cheers

if its juddery at a stand still it could be engine or gearbox mounts

Id go with cleaning the throttle body, if thats what couped means.

Works wonders and with a car your age it wont do any harm.

Try disconnecting the battery for half hour then take it for a good drive. It'll reset the ecu... or do something, I did it to mine today and it's made the idle spot on and it runs smoother. (plus it's free so worth a try eh?)
