What should I do with my GSi????

I have a small problem, a nice problem to have but unfortunatly a problem none the less.

Since buying my Focus ST I am of the mind that as a household we don't need two 200+bhp cars with the expensive tax/fuel/insurance, so I am contemplating chopping in the GSi for a diesel Zafira.

The question is what should I look at and what do you think I could get for my Zafira.

    Ebay or Autotrader?

    Thanks people.

I had the same thoughts having just bought a brand new Focus RS (4 seats) but I still have times when the full family goes out (4 kids).

I came to the conclusion that having had the Zaff for nearly 5 years I know what I have got and I might end up swapping it for a heap of trouble which ends up as more expensive in the long run.

Value wise I am not sure maybe 7k but you could also try and advertise it on Pistonheads as well as the above.

    cheers
    Darren

Thanks Darren, your quite right I know the Zaffy is a good car reilable and nice to own and drive, I just need to cut the Tax & Insurance costs.
I was thinking around the 7k mark as well, I could get a nice SRi for that.

Does the LPG conversion reduce the road tax costs? I know MM recommends it.

I'm not selling just considering my options at the moment Milly. A decision like that will take me a while to make.

There is something to be said for having an MPV that can surprise the uninitiated masses when they try and "have a go"... that's the reason I went for another bus instead of an Astra. The look on peoples faces when they get "daddybussed"...

    You'll miss it, trust me

The Zafira GSi is a real niche car, and thats the problem. There aren't too many people looking for such a vehicle compared to a more sensibly engined model.
Prices vary from region to region but I'd expect/hope to get £6k for mine in good order with 49k on the clock.

I have a feeling I will be running mine into the ground .
