    Wipers gone mad!!

    Hi all

Been driving about and with snow and sleat coming this week I think I should try and sort my wipers out, since Saturday my wipers just stop pointing upwards without doing a full wipe. Any idea why this might off decided to do this.???

wiper motor broke. i think without asking you any questions i can tell you that your wipers work on normal speed and fast wipe but dont do a full movement on intermittent setting?! its a common problem, basically the contacts on the motor wear out. i have the same issue as do most of the members on here lol

its easier to get a new motor and fit that than repair, iv had this problem for a year exactly today and i have only just bought a new motor for it. they can be found for anything between £20 and £40 second hand, or £120 brand new. it could fail the MOT if the tester is in a bad mood as it is not working as it should do. theres also a how to on here on how to it. id look on ebay or breaker yard first.
what im doing is gettin the second hand motor fitted, then repairing my old one, wait till the new second hand one breaks, then fit my repaired motor and then repair the other motor and sell it on. confusing but should see you get your money back after all that lol
