    Expansion Tank

    Hi everyone i need to put a new expansion tank on my 04 plate astra mk4 its the turbo model not sure if this makes a difference. Can anyone put simply insturctions on how to remove it please.

    There's one spring clip to remove, then it slides off.

    It's easier to get most pipes off once it is lifted up.

    i have taken that clip off but its stuck in place? do i need to give it alot of force?

    You'll need to drain some coolant out of the system so it's empty and then disconnect the hoses. Then one the clip is removed you'll have enough play to remove it of it's bracket.
