They said a monaro indicator stalk would never fit...

    and neither would... THE SEATS!

ok, not as cool as a V8 but they'll do me for now.

    spec:
    Black leather
full electric 8 point adjustable front seats with driver seat memory
    adjustable lumbar front seat support
    rear bench bucket seats

    my question:
as the back seats from a monaro dont fold down, the rear seats dont have a back on them. now i have 2 choices

fabricate a hard back for the rear seats and create a folding mechanism to go with it.

    or

put two fingers to practicality, fix the rears in permanently and box in the backs with a pair of 12" subwoofers.(ported through the headrests?)

aside from that I've got more then one problem to solve when it comes to fitting them so root in the mk4 interior section if you want to see how im getting along

What type of astra are they going to be put into?

quick update, have managed to splice 12V on inline fuses piggybacked from my ciggerett lighter. so the seats move.
runner adaptors are being changed again... still need a drivers set fabricating
hoping to have all done in the next fortnight, its been taking ages as im spliting my time between uni, army and my better half, car is low down on the prioritys list.

    teasers:

not much room in the back :P

that seat is bolted in and with the astra pre-tensioner.
rear seats are a summer job...

    thats all folks

I have to say, I'm loving those seats. They're not the only part from a Monaro that will go into an Astra however.....
