With the mods i have i was advised to take mine to 7250rpm, mainly due to having high lift cams.

    Where you getting yours mapped?

These ones, i think 15 extra Bhp is a bit optimistic but with a map maybe.

Courtenay usually sell Schrick for the Z16XE, and these are cheaper elsewhere 15bhp is optmistic though, Schrick reckon on 7bhp, other brands such as Piper say 10bhp from theirs.

Upping the limit probably gives you a higher top end RR figure - no idea if this is good for the engine or not, perhaps depends how well balanced the bottom ends are from factory.

Nry how far can you safely take the Z18xe power wise? Im aiming for 185-190bhp and im unsure on how the internals will hold up. Cheers.

    Sorry for hijacking btw.

    I have no idea

It may well depend on the gearbox/clutch at the end of the day. I've heard (if it is the same box/clutch as the Z16XE which I think it is?) that the box is good for 150bhp but never heard anything other than hearsay on this. It's the torque that'll be limited, but gas flow and port the head and you should see a bhp and torque rise of 10%+ - the Z18XE can, I think, have larger valves fitted too which helps further up the rev range.
