    What to do

Right im stuck a wee bitty now...

Back before i smashed the coupe i had found a set of turbo alloys that wer going cheap so i bought them and started to refurb them with the intention of having a set for the summer / shows and another set for the winter....

BUT i desided to smash the car 4 days before PVS and in doing so destroyed one alloy...

since the car has been rebuilt i have been using a set of alloys on loan from a good m8 o mine, BUT i only wanted to use them for 2 months as i was going to get the spare turbo alloys painted along with the car.... i goit ****ed over on that one resulting in me now havving 4 turbo alloys preped ready for paint and 3 turbo alloys still OEM ( but needing refurb! )

I had sourced a set of turbo alloys with rubber and thought GR8! but they wer sold before i could get them, THEN i found snowflakes ant a gr8 deal but again they wer sold before i could pay for them...

    What do i do now..

Do i just abandon all hope of getting 1 more alloy to make 2 sets so i can have 1 set on car and 1 set painted for shows OR do i just go **** it! get the spray cans out and paint the set tahts been preped and be done wi it all?

Im on a tight budget as it is wi the car BUT i need to return the on loan alloys asap and now have 7 turbo alloys with no rubber!

i have given up all hope of finding either a set with rubber that isnt stupidly overpriced OR 1 more alloy!

    HELP!

Get the Paint, bring the wheels to me!! told you this plenty of times, i wont paint panels but i can easily do wheels because theres no colour matching or blending involved,

All we need is a make shift booth and a heater... if i can get away with it i may be able to use the in laws garage

you could easily fork out the same money on wheels as you would a set of tyres, my mate works at scot-tyre so i may be able to get some at a decent price.. they would be budget crap but it gets the wheels back on the car and the 18's back to their owner

im good with the cans its the finish i hate.. no matter what clear i use it justdont seem to be good, well its good at first but dies pretty fast..

i dunno wither to just continue with my 2 colour and sparkle idea or just go balls to it and do them silver and be done wi it, then search for another tubby wheel later and start all over again.

I would say finish those mate, get some rubber and whack them on, Sell two or three of the other turbo wheels to get some cash for tyres etc..

i wouldnt bother wasting money on another set and work with what you have just now, you've got bigger problems than what wheels to put on

never go for the same colour as your car man you should know this!!! Its an absolute b*****d to match titan gold panels never mind wheels :P

Have a look at the Pug Gold but dot be afraid to look at older colours aswell I'm sure i have pictures somewhere of the wheels we done for a mate which the colour was taken from a marina and freshened up slightly
