just a bit of help on my carPC build

Ok, so I'm finally getting round to building my carPC

i was previously going to use a light weight netbook as it has 6 hours battery life and its easy... but since then my plans have changed and i fancy something hard wired in that also boots up with the ignition etc

i've just quickly thrown something together hardware wise and this is what i've come up with:

    Motherboard/CPU
    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/152176

    RAM
    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130432

    Case
    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/166838

I have an existing Harddrive around 80Gb although its IDE it shoudl do fine for what i need.

Probably going to run Ubuntu with Centrafuse or a linux CarPC distro

anyways I'm looking or a power supply to run from the 12V of my car

From user experience the mobo and cpu draw less than 40W so I'm thinking that this will be fine?

    http://linitx.com/viewproduct.php?prodid=10916

anyone have any experience with these or could suggest any other power supply alternatives?

I wanna avoid using a off the shelf inverter as i want to keep my lighter socket free lol

    thanks for reading

    Will

Have a look at www.mini-itx.com for ideas.
Specifically http://www.mini-itx.com/store/?c=10#int designed for in-car power supply pc use.
Designed to provide power and to control the ON/OFF switch of a motherboard (PC) based on ignition status, M1-ATX is a wide input (6-24V) vehicle or car DC-DC ATX power supply capable of surviving tough car engine cranks (down to 5.7V) as well as transient over-voltage situations.
8 user selectable microcontroller driven timing modes, allowing you to choose up to 8 ignition/shutdown vehicle / car timing schemes. While in deep sleep mode, M1-ATX constantly monitors your car battery voltage levels, automatically shutting down until battery levels reach safe levels
