    Question c20xe to c20let conversion

Hello all, sorry if this has been posted before, I'm new to the site.

I currently drive an astra mk4 sxi 1.8 and have just bought a mk3 with a c20xe engine conversion.
The plan is to convert it into a c20let and was wondering if anyone had any lists of parts needed/hints tips and tricks and wether any z20let parts fit? Ie turbo etc. And what tuning can be done to get it to about 250bhp? I have noticed there isn't much room for an intercooler? Any ideas? Any help and information would be much appreciated!!!

ps. If anyone has any relevant parts for sale please let me know!
    many thanks.

Tbh you'd be best buying a complete c20let and fit it in. Frontera intercoolers fit well behind the bumper.

Best way to go is to get out the XE and sell it, than buy a complete C20LET..

The engine drops right down into the astra, but see after if the LET engine have a wide aux belt, or a narrow one..
The engine mount is different on these two types of systems..

The gearbox that stands in your car now is probably a F-16 box, or a F-20 box..

Both can me used with the LET engine, but the F-16 gearbox may be a little weak for this torque..

The F-20 can just fine be used at a lightly tuned LET engine, but go amove 250-270BHP will be to much for it..

Than you will need a F-28 6 speed gearbox from the Calibra/Vectra 4x4 Turbo.
This gearbox is meant for 4wd, but it can me modified to work with only FWD, you can get complete kit for this, easy to fit..

You should upgrade your frontbrakes, you can use the brakes from a calibra/vectra turbo, these are 280mm wide..

Best way to get more power an smoot drive out of the LET is to start with a front mounted intercooler, since the standard cooler is smaller than my beer bottles on a good Saturday evening

Than EDS have much things that you can do, EDS P3, gets about 310BHP..

Have been doing alot with c20let engines in calibra fwd, astra fwd and vectra fwd so i know a little, so just ask
