    Rear screen de-mister = Broken :(

    Hi Guys,

Just wondering if there is any way to fix the heat strips on the rear screen because only a few work now (after taking my tints off)

    Thanks

    Jack

I remember reading on here about some spray or gel or whatever the hell it is that you spray on/rub on and it's supposed to sort out the contacts or whatever. Someone will probably come through with the product name as it escapes me

    try this from maplin: http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?moduleno=36275

    or amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Electro-Conn.../dp/B002WC4XSE

haven't used either product, so not recommending them, just showing you whats available from a quick search online.

    hope this helps.

its awkward to do it properly with that stuff. can only apply it to the part of each strip that is broken. best way to do it is jump in the boot with it open, and look at the strips into the light, then you can see the light popping through the gaps in the strip
