    Non metallic paint polish

As some of you know, i use Einszett metallic polish and wax on the metalic paint cars in the household.

However, the non-metalic Nova just laughs at it. Doesn't get a shine up at all.

So i used what i had left of Autoglym Super Resin Polish, but i don't rate it.

What do you recommend for non-metallic paint?

If you can post pics (just to be a pic whore)

Both. The Nova is RED at the moment, but it will fade, so will cutting eventually.

lime prime applied by machine will bring it back to a glossy red colour if already red and not pink.

once polished up protect the paint with a good quality carnauba wax this will stop it fading as quick.

Not machine polishing it, it'll be by hand.

Should have said that in my original post.

I'm sorted wax wise, it's the polish i'm struggling with.

Srp or lime prime by hand will do the job mate. What wax are you using? The dodo stuff is really good at protecting the paint from the sun

I've got the VXR wax which is Sonax, that works a treat on the car.

Not as good as a car port and car cover though.

Want something other than AutoGlym, as i don't rate the polish at all.

Then the only thing for it is Dodo Lime Prime mate. You can still apply it by hand, and it'll give a nice oily finish to the paint.

    Guess what i bought today.

Decided the SRP i used was old, so may not have done the job it can do.

My plans for the Nova are now.

    Light Claying
    Thorough polish
    Solid wax
    Aqua wax

Will be doing a panel or two at a time.

I'll try and take pictures at each stage.
