    Fitted grooved and drilled discs.

Got my new brakes last week so decided to fit them today snow and all. Took around 2 hours for my ass to defrost when i was finished. the spacers had to be trimmed down a little as the mintex pads were slightly wider than the standard ones. Went for grooved and drilled coated discs. The car brakes nice and smooth now. gonna wear them in a bit before i test them properly for fade and stuff.

most people run the grooves running the other way, courtenay told me running them how you have them is ok,but they can be a bit noisier??i run mine the same as you and all is fine!but that's what they said when i bought the vxr brake set up for my gsi...(i phoned them after i fitted them and could not be arsed to change them round).

most ppl youll find run them the way as shown in the pic

tbh though its totally irrelevant as its determined by the way the vanes are rotating inside the discs - not the external grooves

anyway that aside - glad ur happy with them - although youd have had the same results with cheaper standard parts but as long as ur happy then jobs a good un

personally i bed them in for about 2-300 mile but each to their own
