a full set of lowering springs can be had for about £60

either just fit the rears or better still fit the lot

rears are a piece of cake and take about 5mins to fit

im sure if u ask nicely in the regional section - someone will lend a hand if ur not confident or dont wanna pay to have it done

They do just get old and brake. Especially if they were a cheap make spring.

Do you know the off set?

ok i lied at £60..................they are infact £67 delivered

As for OFFSET *sometimes called ET* it should be stamped on the inside of the wheel rim - and is essentially a number - should be between 35 & 49 ideally and determines how far (in mm's) that the wheel sits out of the arch - from a set central point of the wheel

in laymans terms - the lower the number the further the face sticks out - if u wanna be lowering a nice 40mm or so from standard then the ET isnt really a massive worry - 35+ would be good enough although I always advise 38+

Having slimmer tyres as you do (205 as opposed to 215) will help you if u do have a lower offset

confused??? im starting to get lost myself therefore theres the link above to a full set of springs - now just gotta find someone to help out fitting them
