    Arrow any one had this problem???

    just changed the MAF and removed the power sounder ( cos its been annoying me ). when i start the car it now idles at about 250 - 500 rpm and feels like its gonna stall... i thought i had solved the issues, i'm getting no error codes... has any one else had this problem or does anyone have any advice...

    did u replace with bosch??

    yeah had a bosch unit made sure of that ( heard stories about other replica units ) just cant figue out what it is? does it need time to "bed in"??

    no it shud be fine straight away! idle valve? does the car judder when driving (coil pack)

    Maybe check none of the boost hoses have come unstuck ?

    Did you fit the AFM the correct way around?

    Boost hoses are the ones going from the turbo to the intercooler and then to the throttle body. Also check the hoses before the turbo to make sure there connected ok, before and after the crossover pipe.

    i hope i did.... i put it in the same way it came out... the mesh side towards the airbox

    IIRC it should have an arrow on it to show the direction of airflow. Mesh towards the airbox sounds the correct and logical way though.
