thought i'd clean the car today and...

i was shocked to discover this..

The drivers side wheel arch liner has been ripped and, before i took this is had been pushed right forward into the void behind the bumper.. i've pulled it back out and now its just hanging and the wheel keeps hitting it when i turn..

Im going to have to go get a new one from a scrap yard but are they hard to take off and replace?? i dont want to start messing to put a new one on and reck that aswell

    Cheers

    Matt

i replaced one a few months back, really simple to do! just make sure that when you push the centre of the plactic clips out not to let them fall out completely else you will be forever fishing for the bits on the floor lol

£15 brand new from vauxhall, and are easy to fit, get new clips though... as it makes it all so much easier not caring about the old ones

Probably happened during the bad weather.
I've had similar happen to mine after going through deeply flooded sections of roads, water gets forced up behind them & then the wheel catches it & doubles it over on you.

Job I need to do as well. Clips broke on mine and the liner was rubbing on the wheel. Now has a nice hole in it

Cheap and easy to fit though

    cheers lads for the help..

it needs to get done as its constantly rubbing the wheel when im reversing and its sitting the wheel side of the bumper, not behind the bumper.

im considering ripping it off to be fair untill i can get a new one probably next weekend because if i dont then no doubt the wheel will do it for me in the end!

    Cheers
