Isofix transponder equipped baby seats with Isofix transponder cars you can.

Older cars you can swap the airbag ECU for a single airbag one.

Or just use the back seat and one of those mirrors that attaches to the headrest.

Its a 1999 astra and only really want to turn it off when the baby seats there, we've already got a graco travel system which has the baby seat and car base so looks like she'll be going in the back!
