    Need to make my laptop wireless can anyone recommend me a wireless card.

    if its external check which socket. Most laptops from the last few years will have wireless built in.

    What laptop do you have? If it already has the antennae etc inside then a built in one would be much better, if not then a pcmcia or usb one will have to do but are not ideal but as above can be very cheap on ebay, I have used tp-link stuff in work a lot and it is very cheap but never had any issues with them.

    Matt has a pcmcia wireless network card he's selling if you like - I'll ask him in the morning how much etc, as it might be easier than the hassle of ebaying it!

    Don't imagine you'll get much for it with it being PCMCIA - relatively outdated now.

    USB is the way to go for cheapness!

    If you laptop has a pci slot might aswell get that one ^^^
