I am proud of myself - Declared my mods...

    Hey all,

As some of you may know, I didn't declare any modifications on my old 1.6 8v as the premium always became too much. But I always made sure I had myself covered in an accident just in case.

I admit I do deserve to have my wrists slapped for it, but now I have just lowered the turbo I decided that I would declare it.

And all the worrying about the premium going up was pointless, they didn't want a penny

Well done to Admiral for letting a 21 year old male have a 'performance' car with modifications for less then £500 a year

Let this be a lesson to some that it is worth declaring it, it is only a phonecall after all

Adrian Flux quoted me £200 cheaper at last renewal for a modded car to a standard car.

At the time, car was standard so didn't see the point. Now I want to mod, got a feeling I will be going with them this year!

Yes, thats a 10 month policy but the 12 month is only £567.28.

I pay in one go too, maybe that reduces the cost?

I was only paying £720 last year when I was 20, and that was with an 18 year old female on the policy too
