    coolant level help

Ive got a 1.7DTI 02 Astra and im a bit concerened with the coolant level, reading the owners manual it says The coolant level when cold should be slightly above the cold/kalt mark and that it should rise when the engine is warm, well mine always seems to be just under the cold mark and it doesnt even go much above it when the engine is warm. ive topped it up alittle bit every now and then but it just seems to settle back just under the mark. Ive not get any leaks anywhere and the the temp guage and heater work fine. should i be worried ?

the car has only done 47,000 btw
