Hi folks, newbie alert.

Hope I'm posting this in the right section.

Basically, I've recently bought a mk4 1.7dti eco4 astra for the missus. Really like the car especially the mpg

I thought I'd get the cambelt changed and the car serviced as they were both due. My mechanic checked the car over and commented on how good the car was except for a leak on the steering rack? I'm assuming he means hydraulic fluid from the PAS. he reckons its a possible mot failure.

Can these be easily resealed or is it an expensive replacement job?

Like I said. I'm a total novice with vauxhalls having come from the VAG scene.
