    HID advice.??

Hi im looking at gettin a set of HID's for my 2007 sxi sporthatch and was wondering what sort of HID's do i go for?

Iv have been told i need a canbus HID kit which costs approx 230 quid, and iv also been told any H7 HID kit will work.?

So what do i actually need to go for?

    Any advice greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Michael

I have an SXI 07 also, Iv got HID H7 8k's (although this has more of a tint of blue, 6k's will look good too)

    I got my kit for £100 H7 8k's
Ebay job for the canbus (all it is really, is a capacitor which goes between the bulb and ballast)

and you may have come across H7R, this is H7's with an extra coating over the bulb to stop excessive glare - despite many people I know who have used H7's they have had no problems with MOT's either.

So my advice, H7s or even better H7R's - and canbus adapter = job done! (well almost, ..then you just got to fit it! )

    Bulb holder clip
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Opel-Astra-H-MK5-VXR-HID-Xenon-Bulb-Holders-Adaptors_W0QQitemZ270502319545QQcmdZViewItemQQptZU K_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3efb31d5 b9

Or you can get them from this seller (people i used)
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XENON-HID-CONV...item45effb0c06

From what i know CMS_Sales are now adding the bulb clips to the HID price (so you wont need the 1st link)
