    AUX Connection

    Hi everyone,

I have owned my first astra for 4 weeks now a '08 1.6L design. When i got the BC trip computer didn't work (No Function) so i managed to get the dealership to activate it.

But now i've just noticed i can't access the AUX function to connect my MP3 player. I have the socket between the drinks holder and the handbrake, I just can't find how to switch on the AUX, and i think i'm not 100% sure it was working before they reprogrammed my car to get the BC trip computer activated. I have a CD30 MP3

    Does this need activated too?

Thank in advance for any info.

    Welcome mate

The aux is something that needs to be activated aswell although if you have the socket it should already be

I believe you press the CD button to get to the AUX input

Thanks Autosparks, I've pushed all the buttons and couldn't get the AUX on. I'll head back to the dealership and get them to re-activate it as i presume they'll need to use the Tech 2 again.

normally you press the AM/FM button until it comes up AUX on the display. It's normally FM1, FM2, Aux, MW, LW iirc

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring
