    Temp Gauge

Hi i have recently bought a R reg astra 1.6 ls on the journey home from collecting it i noticed that the temperature gauge did not budge off of the blue bar at the bottom for the entire journey. However when i was stuck in traffic 2day the temperature gauge started to rise. Just wanted to know if this was normal for it to stay on the blue bar when normal driving.

16v engine is easy, 8v engine needs the cambelt off, so ideally a new belt kit should be fitted...
