    MK4 radio aerial question

    Hello how easy is it to remove the aerial from the roof,

    Im looking to change it and run a new wire

    Ive looked only way i can see is head lining coming down?

    Correct, you have to drop the rear of the headcloth.
    Once you have access the wiring unclips/unscrews leaving short tails on the aerial base, then there is a nut to be removed to let the base come off.
