I wanted a very small point and shoot camera to use for going out and ease of use. Basically when the DSLR is a little overkill.
I got the Canon Ixus 120IS in mat black
to give an idea on size:
Its very small and does the basics well. Very easy to use and the pics have come out alright I think. I used it today walking the dog along the canal and fields at the back of our house.
These were on Auto settings.
Bit of boring info that we find interesting. A few years back a house was for sale in Kings Norton (where we live) that had 40 bedrooms and was up for sale on offers over 4million. Our family is from Kings Norton and no one I knew had heard or seen of a big house of this size.
I had an idea where it could be by using google earth, but it was hard to work out exactly where it was. Well during our walks in the fields we came across it. Its now a home for Autistic Children but was built for William Cadbury - The chocolate people, as Cadburys is just up the road. The Cadburys signature logo is his signature
This is the house - well the best you can see for it.
Any idea what these are for? they are about 300m up the hill from the house?
So camera people what do you think to the pics? Ok for a point and shoot?
