    Getting to me wits end with my tracking !

    Right here goes?


    Im gettin to my wits end with my tracking on my car ive had it tracked 4/5times in the year and few months i have had my car as


    im constant fed up with it and its always on the passengers side that keeps ****ing up ?


    its ok for the few days after ive had it done, but after that it goes funny again and needs doing AGAIN?


    any ideas as im gettin ****ed off with it ?

    sounds like track rod end might be worn or the bottom ball joint,no point in doing tracking if these have loads of play in

    do you mean the CV joint with reguards to the track rod end or are these 2 different things as ive had the CV joint replaced a few weeks back ?


    and is the track rod end expensive to replace?

    The track rod end is on the end of your steering rack. The bit they adjust the tracking on

    ah kki know now cheers keith would that be the reason and is it costly to replce and could i do it at home ?

    To be fair I doubt there is anything wrong with it. The bloke setting your tracking should have spotted if it was faulty.

    as the passenger wheel is/looks always out to me and most of the time it pulls to the left !

    It will always steer to the left anyway due to the camber of the road and the way a car is set up (For safety)

    whats the lower arms (wishbones) like?

    is the ball joint on them buggered at all?

    ive got a pair of brand new ones here if u need them - were only used for 2days - and car driven about 10miles whilst i rebuilt my originals

    marti - not sure mate i think there the originals but im gonna have a look tomorrow what price you after for them and would it pay me to polibush then at the same time ? and how many do i need as they only come in set 2 per set ?
