What year is it? Life's are very basic models I think. Some say SXi is Sports Extra Injection.

if you are planning on modding, the 1.6 16v and below has drums on the rear and smaller disks on the front, the 1.8 and up comes with larger front disks and disks on the back. ABS isn't as common with drums. SXI and SRI specs come lowered 20mm from the factory for slightly better handling. Personally if i was buying again i wouldn't buy a 2001 as i dont have the wiring loom to add cruise control, electric mirrors, heated seats to mine etc. 2002 cars and up you can add all this. Also i would have had a 1.8 rather than 1.6 so i could have disks all round and 5-stud hubs for a better choice of alloys.

Also... Dont forget about the coupes... 4 seats as apposed to 5, but all come high spec and there's the SE2 editions with half leather half blue Alcantera interiors

If you have found them on gumtree or autotrader etc or anywhere else on the internet post the links up and im sure someone will be able to help you out a bit more.
Astra Sold! Now its back! Sold Again! Who knows whats going on!

Currently Running MK1 1.8 MX5 with LSD awaiting boost, and a Red UK DC2

So if Life is the basic model, where do Breeze and Club fit in?

Does anyone know the "ranking order" Guessing VXR is at the top
