    Possible gauge fault.

Ive got a boost gauge that im almost ready to fit in the car but tonight when the girlfriend was sticking her nose in she dropped it along with its din holder onto the table top it wasn't a big drop but it still made a thud. lol. Thing is the its not plugged in or anything yet but the needle no longer sits on 0 its abit above it. Can she of knackered it or is there a chance when its all plugged in it will sort itself out??

    What boost gauge is it??

Maybe plumb in the vac tube, start it up. which the gauge will go to a minus figure.

Turn off the engine, and see if it sits at 0

i just connected the gauge up and ran it it idled in the minus area cant say because i weren't paying much attention then it climbed up as it should when boosting but when turned off the needle still sat above 0. If you look at the picture of the gauge the needle sits at about 1 an a half-2 lines above 0. Is it worth keeping or just get the bird to buy me a new 1.
