    Lost my locking nuts! Help!

I seem to have lost my locking nuts for my Mk4 Astra SXI. They are the ones that came with the car when it was new.

If i took the car to vauxhall would they be able to get me a new key?

    Thanks

Or go to machine mart and buy the locking nut removers for £10 and gent a new set of wheel nuts probably cheaper than a new key from vauxhall

they will try all there keys onto you nuts and the one that fits has a code on it. They order it from that code. But I would do as antcull has said as the vaux nuts are pants

I had this problem not too long ago.

Vauxhall wanted to charge me £65 to try their keys, they do not have a master key apparently. It's a case of trying what they have available and if they don't have one, well you're footing the bill anyway.

You can remove them youreself by hammering a socket over the locking nut, 17mm I think it was and using a breaker bar. Simples.

If you're not confident with that, take it to any half decent tyre place and they'll do the same for about £20. (Do not let them weld anything onto the nut unless the nut is completely buggered - reason being it will damage your wheel.)
