    Help needed with headlights!!!

Hi guys fitted some new headlights today. parked up in a carpark facing a wall noticed the lights shining unevenly? like one was higher than the other.

im sure i read somwhere that there is a manual way of adjusting them with an alan key bolt. Somwhere under the bonnet??

can any1 confirm this and explain to me were i can find it?

    Thanx

There are adjustment cogs on the headlight unit itself, fiddle with these until your happy with it

You definetly wont have to take them out to adjust them. There are several adjustment cogs and Vauxhall have positioned these to make it a bit easier to adjust. Just have a fiddle with them and see what moves where. I cant remember how the adjust as mine are in the loft now.

Wouldn't make a lot of sense to remove the lights every time you needed to make a tiny adjustment...a garage won't charge a lot to do this and they use a proper machine to check the alignment. Just gives you peace of mind that you aren't going to dazzle other drivers and that it will pass this aspect of the MOT no problem

i agree, take them a garage if you want them perfect, although if you want to do them yourself, ive arrowed the adjusters location in the pic below, its a round bit of plastic with an allen key hole in it
