    Fenny's mk3 powerd by LET

Ill jump forward quite abit but if you would like to read the rest then take a look at the link

    http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/proje...wered-let.html

Ive not really done too much of late.
However, I have finaly been able to fit my seats Its took awile as i couldnt find a good way to do it.
I want to upgrade to side mounted seats in the future. But for now ive got to use what ive got as im running sort on cash at the moment and im doing everything i can to get this car in and road going state before the end of March.
Im not even botherd if it looks like a shed. ie, unpainted.
My aim is to be able to go to the Fast show at Pod on the 21st of March iirc.
Failing that then i deffernetly want it going for Donny wich i think is Easter weekend.
    So, what ive done since my last update is;
Move the inturnal tank to a more suterble location.
Then i scrubed that idea and went for using the std fuel tank but still keeping my new swirl pot and high flow pump.
So ive fitted the std tank back on but im not going to be using the std filler neck.
What ive done is drill a big hole inline with the filler hole on the tank but back abit to allow for a bend in a pipe.
So im comming from the tank. Straight into the car and im going to mount a filler cap to the rear strut brace (for now)
At some point i will also be buying polly windows, then ill run the filler neck to the side window and use some sort of start cap that will fix to the window.
IMO it will look cool lol :thumb:

What ive done to my seat is just chop a std seat bottom up untill i could fit my seat to it and just weld them together. That was the only good thing i could think to do I looked at some OMP seat frames but i would of still had the same prob of not being able to put the seat were i need it.
O well. I dont plan on leaving these in for very long.
    Anyways. Here acouple of pic's.

The money has now come out of my account for my new clutch. So looking forward to that getting here as i can then fit the engine and put the car on the deck.

A long and overdue update Although its a small one.
Im STILL waiting on my clutch......
Ive brought a AEM oil pressure gauge
And ive also decided to paint the car.
This is what it will sort of look like. Need abit more doing but you get the idea. I will also be putting stickers on it.

Just a pic of my new oil presure gauge.

Ive managed to make a good compresor out of 3
So got my own now and its bigger than the one i was using at work Its still at work as thats were my car is but it just saves dragging loads of pipe out and running it across the building floor. Health and safty and all that lol

I also made a start on stripping the car down today to get it ready to go for painting
Really looking forward to the day i collect it

And just a quick pic of my poor engine thats in need of a clutch.

And that up to date. But more updates comming soon

Well i done a tad more to the astra today.
Here is acouple of pic's of what ive brought latley

My parts are starting to pile up now lol

Box of new bit including my Emerald, pump, swirl pot, gauges ect ect

Ive took anything that of value from out of the car just to be safe.

After i took the pic's i made a start on covering all the bits that i dont want to get overspray on. Such as surprension and the engine bay.
The guy who is painting it will marsk the rest up but i just wanted to make sure that some of it was done so i did it lol
So tomorrow i think i will get the car finnished/ready to be taken to be sprayed
I also had a call today about the harnessess ive orderd. I forgot to tell them what colour i wanted  So they should be with me soon
Ive then got to fit my new DIS XE exhaust cam. Mite do that over the weekend. Im in no rush......
Still waiting on my clutch after paying for it over 1 mounth ago. Ive been told it got lost in the post.... Yer rite!

    Update

    Ive finaly recived my clutch
    6 paddal Helix

Ive also had a fiberglass gsi bonnet made. Its rather costly when its the first one Its cost me in exsess of £200..... destroyed my std gsi bonnet in the process

Ive opend it up for other's if you would like to buy one.
    See here for the tread

    http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/items...group-buy.html

Ive then been getting the car ready for its re spray.
So ive got the car rolling again and took all the nessersery parts off it like the skirts, bumpers, wirrors, rear windows ect
Then on Sunday i got the car outside for the first time in about a year iirc
Push it though to the front of my yard and then loaded it up on a trailer ready to go to the paint shop on Monday

Monday came and i deliverd it to the body shop.
Ive slightly changed my mined on the colours that were photoshoped..... but only slightly

Im realy looking forward to going down there and seeing it progress bit by bit. I will be going down to take some pic's as it goes though the motions

Ive also decided not to put the engine back in as is. Im going to upgrade the conrods atleast. Maybe the pistons but ill see what funds allow

Well i poped down to the spray show yesterday and they have made alittle bit of progress with the car
Most of the dents have been either pulled out or smothed over.
The fuel filler hole has now gone.
They have got abit more to do yet though. I will be popping down again on Monday to see how they are getting on. Im still waiting for my front wing's to be done though so i may end up having to put the std ones back on it for now

They are also re painting my wheels for me
