    Help Speedo 160's in 140's!!

AS some of you may have seen my thread on here, i am after a white speedo mat and now i have been offered a mat with 160mph but mine has 140mph, would this still be alright or is it a bad idea, wrong speed output etc

    Cheers guys

    it wont work

its like trying to fit 5stud wheels onto 4 stud hubs - they will fit on but bolts wont line up - the mat will fit on but everything will be out of sync

why not just get some white clocks? change the entire instrument binnacle over

    its does work

ive got gsi 160 clocks in mine, used to have 140's, swapped them over and everything is working fine, speed is correct as verified by my sat nav which has the speed on it.
