    is this correct??

fitted a forge valve today and decided to take the bailey's off, fitting the forge was a git!!but got it fitted and put all piping back to factory, job done...now is this what the standard dump valve should look like if running a after market dump valve???regal fitted the bailey's valve 4 years ago,and this is the first time i have seen the stock one..i thought when fitting the bailey's/collins ect you had too fit a spacer in the factory valve?but i had this.

that is the "correct" way - ie untouched!!!

the bodged way is to fit the spacer - but that should be binned right away and OE valve run in unison with the aftermarket DV or a one way fitted if u really must have it disabled

spacer is nothing more than a bodge and more trouble than its worth!
