    timing belt change and cost

HI I have a 54plate 1.8 and on my engine nos; its 6 yrs until change ,as its only done 15k I will have it done this year just for safety sake. my local main dealer quoted £300 but one of the fitters there will do it for £200 , they use the workshop on saturdays ( perks of the job) so it might be worth you having a word with the guys at your local dealer, ) times are hard any saving counts, all the best ,Rap
