Well as you might have guessed from the rather obvious thread title, someone has crashed into my car last night..... and drove off without leaving any details. So I wake up this morning to find the back end of my car about a foot closer to the kerb than where I left it the previous night. ( I'd parked about a foot from the kerb, cos i couldn't see it in the snow, and i didn't want to damage my alloys.
When I went out the back wheel was tight to the kerb, and the other side, well the pictures say the rest.... back door is a right mess, it shuts, but the top doesn't seal now and it leaks
Not too bad, fixable. I thought to myself, maybe £100 to fix it at the most.
It wasn't until daylight arrived was I able to notice that the back passenger wheel wasn't how it should be and now appears to be bent inwards, no doubt from the force of being shoved into the kerb
I was gonna go the the scrap yard tomorrow, and get a new door, but it looks like I am gonna have to get the car up on the ramps at a local garage to ascertain whether it now needs a new rear beam or rear bearing or something.....
