    a question of aerodynamics..

as i am planning to get a 2.2 astra and go completely body-kit-less (with added styling touches i shant disclose :P), i was wondering how the feel of the car would change with regard to aerodynamics.. i am currently the happy owner of a 2.0 mk4 sri with a full irmmy bodykit (with a gsi spoiler), and i was wondering how if at all the feel would change? stability at speed or just general driving etc

doubt it unless you square up the front of the car and make it look like a transit van!

i have never head on the backend going light on an astra before at the end of the dat its a front wheel drive car at the end of the day technically from a scientific point of view a spoiler would actually decrease traction as you puch the back down your lifting the front up

seen lots of supra's with the large rear wing taken off and the back left bare,so i guess if it dont affect a 326bhp stock motor i think you will be ok.
if i wanted to be right all the time i would change my title to mrs ledster

Back end on mine goes light when you lift off, Cavalier was worse though.

Unless you have a smooth track to throw 100mph corners, you won't notice much differnce.

The ECO4 got a spoiler to reduce drag and increase fuel economy.

im sure supra's came with not big spoiler as standard.

lets face it, its an astra used for day to day driving, i will rarely if ever go over 100mph so am pretty sure spoilers and stuff wont make much, if any difference, and i bet all the spoilers you can buy where designed for looks and not performence

sure the twin turbo shape did.also had lip spoiler that could be lowered or raised to get over speed humps, iam talking about 1996 shape.

so if i went on a trip round europe, travelling through germany along the way, and hitting 130 or so on the autobahn, how would this spoiler-less setup affect the car? :O
