    HID Help

    Im getting a 2.2 Astra coupe on weekend and im wanting to fit HID's to it, I was wondering do i need different headlights or will the standards work fine??

    If i need new headlights for them, which ones do i need??

    Sorry to threadjack but I have a quick relevant (I think) question too.....

    Would you recommend 35w H7R HID kit in the standard headlight, or could you go as high as 55w? (rationale for question is heat related issues, if there are any)

    Hid's should go in projector headlights or there illegal, from the feedback on other threads, people who went for 55w keep on gettin flashed casue there to bright !

    I have just brought some 35w of egay
    Hid kits, richbrook, for sale

    Less is more ..... more or less

    35W will be a big enough improvment over standard bulbs..
    Some people put the 55W HID's in the Angle Eyes because of the poor light output from them.

    Sums it really well.

    My wife has 35watt in her standard Astra lights and follows me to work most days and they are bright but not dazzling.

    so i should get 35w hids rather than 55w so i can still use my original headlights??
