Cleaning Suede, what shall i use

Just bought some black leather/white suede seats on ebay
after a bit of advice as to how to clean them as they are quite 'grubby'
looks oily but doesn't look TOO deep in...

my initial thought is to try a steam cleaner vacuum?
    any better/other ideas?

    also seen this?

try a damp cloth first. over wetting it wil cause it to blob together and look worse.

search for alacantara cleaning. loads of threads explaining.

mate use to do valeting and had a special interior steam cleaner maybe a wise choice to invest in one if not to expensive
if it was me id use a upholstery cleaner that is suede friendly try not to rub them to hard tho as the suede wears thin and clumps up and you get the ball of material build up all over the place and make it go all horrible
