    Unhappy airbag light problem

hi guys got a problem hope you can help,i have a 1999 astra cdi,now the problem is that a week or so ago i noticed the heated seat was getting too hot and wouldnt turn down by the control,so i decided to un-plug it from under the drivers seat, but unfortunately i unplugged the air-bag instead, whoopson plugging it back in and unplugging the heated seat connection i now have the air-bag light on the dashboard as if it has been activated,is there any way to get the light to go off without goin to dealers as i have an mot coming very soon and im not sure if its an automatic failure.......any help would be greatly appreciated.

Airbag light don't normally reset by disconnecting the battery.

Normally needs resets with Tech2 or OP-COM

    Maybe someone local could help.

You need to get the car on Tech2 or a code reader to reset the airbag light. Removing the battery won't achieve anything.
