your hydraulic release bearing has most probably failed, which is fairly common. this will require the front subframe to be dropped, gearbox removed and a new clutch cover/plate and hydraulic release unit installed. independant garage is roughly £380, vauxhall is over £600.

OUCH it has been a bit sticky for a wile like as if the cable was stretching i know there isnt one but thats what it felt like

but now there just nothing its like the cable snapt totall free movement on the peddle

do you need to chech the hydraulic fluid on them or not

would it not work if there is no fluid for it thanks

might be worth checking under the bell housing, between engine and gearbox for any signs of brake fluid as if the slave cyclinder goes (the one in the gearbox) it usualy leaks fluid in to the bell housing, if not might be worth checking the clutch master cyclinder which can also cause no pedal, this is located just next to the brake master cyclinder in the bulkhead it has a feed pipe from the brake resivior.

whats the fluid level like in the brake master cyclinderis it above the black feed pipe (on the right as you look from the front) if not top up the fluid level and try to bleed the clutch, see how you go with that!
