Question Tyres for standard 17" wheels on SRi

    Can anyone recommend some?

I don't buy crap but have no idea what's good at the moment... can anyone point me in the right direction?

At the moment they've got Bridgestones on them - great in the dry but absolutely awful in the wet!

On my ACT, I got Toyo Proxies TR1 - £100 fitted, which have been great, until the snow came and they have been crap.... but guessing most summer tyres will be. I am considering snow/winter tyres.

Uniroyal Rainsport II get very good reviews.

On my old SXi I had Avon ZZ3 and they were brilliant tyres... anyone else have them?

I'm trying to get an idea of what to get as this car has loads of torque compared to my crappy old 1.6 petrol so no idea what's best to go for.

Goodyear F1 GSD3 or toyo T1R, great in the wet, can't really tell between them, F1 maybe a bit stiffer handling but I go by whichever happens to be cheaper at the time.

Anyone recommend Pirelli PZero? Can get them for £98 from Kwik Fit... never spent that much on a tyre before

    Can anyone recommend anywhere cheaper?
