    Jet Washer Motor Burnt Out?

Think I may have burnt out my jet washer motor after trying desparetly to get it to work. Now when I try to use the washers front or rear it doesnt even make the whining noise and the wiper just goes. Anyone any ideas? Could it maybe just be the fuse?

Probably just the fuse , Does the tailgate switch work ? If not then it's the fuse, change it to a 15 amp 1 rather than the standard 10 amp.

What he means is, can you open the tailgate? If not, then the fuse for the wahers has blown. Tailgate has an electronic sensor as opposed to a button, if that makes sense.

Yes the fuse has probably blown but it's not always the same fuse as the release for the tailgate (it's electronic)

It will be fuse 7 or 8 under the bonnet (maybe 8 and 9)

A search will show up loads of threads on this

Cheers guys. The tail gate still opens. Had a look in the Haynes it says its F7 in the engine fuse box, going to have a look just now.

There are to set ups with the fuse boxes, if you have set up A the washers and the boot use the same fuse which is number 8 if it is B the washer has its own fuse which is number 7. I know it is sorted but just for future..........
