    Service time!

I am going to do a basic service on my car soon (oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter pollen filter, spark plugs and sump washer+plug)

and was looking at what i need, on lmf they have this kit http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/store/p...at=2788&page=1 but only lists as being for 16v engines???

and i can see what is presumably the oil filter on the front on the engine? (z16se if i can remember correctly...)

so i need some axle stands and that kit (if it is correct) and what oil is best?

Or just go to your local main dealer and use trade club and get trade prices from them. And 10-40 vaux oil will be fine

    6.92 for air filter
    1.42 for oil filter
    6.70 for fuel filter
    6.89 for pollen filter
    10.32 for spark plugs

£46.04 inc vat for that lot

    £12.80 for oil

( for the record the LMF price is £33 and the dealer price is £29.80)

Just tell them all the bits you need and they can check it out for you, I have never used part numbers when getting service items from vauxhall.

Ok so i am going to order

    4x spark plugs
    pollen filter
long life cartrige oil filter (this is right for the z16se yeah?)
5 litres of 10w40 semi synth oil
    fuel filter

and getting a magnetic sump plug and will probably be getting an aftermarket air filter so will leave that for now, so is that all i need or have a i missed something blindingly obvious?
