    Astra G removing CD Headunit

    Hi All,
First post so please be gentle.

I have got an Astra G Dualfuel (LPG) on a 51 plate. Had been trying to remove the CD headunit in the center console, which is located under the air blower grills. It's a CDR 500 1-DIN unit. Their were four 5/6 hex screw inside the headunit facia. I tried to prie them with small scredrivers with no result.
Also tried removing hte cigerattel ligher and 3 star screws behind the ashtray top lid.
    Any ideas.

    Thanks in Advance.

For the head unit, remove the small torx screws then using removal keys or screwdrivers apply pressure in an outwards direction, disengage catches & pull out the head unit.

Keys can be got for a couple of quid in most motor factors.

Ashtray, taken fron the How-to section.
