    Rocker bolt washers?

    hello,

do the bolts that hold the rocker cover on, require washers / o-ring gaskets?

any part numbers would also be a great help

    cheers

    Part number is 90528439

And you need 10 of them at £0.21 each

    90528438 is the PN

BUT thats for the O-ring gaskets that fit on the underside of the cover

What exactly do u need? the washers for the top (if ur fitting aftermarket bolts) hence the rocker bolt washer reference?

If so I got them supplied when I got M6 x 30 bolts.... but the little packs of M6 washers from B&Q are perfect size too - £1.29 ish iirc

it is the topside i am checking.

i'm using the standard bolts and have a small leak on the one. i've tightened it as far as i am prepared to go with it, but thought it worth checking as to whether i should have gaskets fitted?

    cheers

if ur just using the standard bolts then they have a small flange on them as standard dont they?

but there is definitely no other gasket u need

just the o-ring then the camcover sits on that, then the original bolt or better still new bolts and washers - ebay is mega cheap for pack of 10

just whack in M6 x 30 and you may be surprised at the prices! gotta look better than OE ones! get some nice m6 washers in too and ur laughing
