    Bump strips.

    hey im goin to spray my bumpstrips and my sideskirts this next week, do i have to sand them down first and then spray with some kind of primer?

    There's a HowTo in the Technical Guides section, they do benefit from a full rub down to flat, then primer before final colour and (for metallic) laquer.

    when i did mine i got rid of all that texture crap with some course wet & dry then worked it up to a 1200 finish. Looks spot on imo

    Hell of a lot of work by hand to sand them back. Get a good orbital sander, some 240 and 600 grit papers, and let rip. You will probably end up with a better job as well.
