    New to astra's

Rescently bought an astra and just bought the new 2010 top of the range alpine HU, but i cant get it to fit in the slot properly, ive been ramming it in and it just doesnt want to go all the way back, i had the same problem in my punto, is it that alpine HU's are deep or should it be a hell of a struggle to get it in?
I had a quick go at pushing the wires to one side but i must still be getting one/two trapped somewhere as it isnt budging, and as ive just spent £300 on it i dont really fancy driving ghetto with it hanging out.

    Any advice?

    Thanks
    Shaun

Yep pull the glovebox out and pull the wires out the side as you push it back
