Buying A Second Hand Show Car

If you had the money would you buy a second hand show car?

If the car had everything you wanted on it and was in your price range would you buy it or would you get sick of everyone asking if it was "uncle bobs" old car?

Im using the word show car very loosely as everyones got a different interpretation on what is a show car.

yep I would, for the right car you could get a bargin, and a few mods could make it your own. This is a big thing on the VW scene where cars tend to survive the strip back to standard we seem to get a lot off.

Yes some will always see it as X's car but if its what you like who cares? Or you add to it with your own take on it. Its certainly a far cheaper way to acheive a stand out car

good question,i would buy it but make sure its not a local car and then add your own touches,or if its a real show car what the hell get it and enjoy it cos most seem to sell for much less than the build price and if you add labour costs way less.
if i wanted to be right all the time i would change my title to mrs ledster

Scotts car has had so much money spent on it and you know it will have been looked after.

At least you know the history of it.

I personally wouldnt buy a show car if it was very individual looking. Cars like that require a lot if thought and planning and there is always going to be a little bit of that person in that car as a result.

But if it has everything you want in it then go for it
