    Poor fitting usually.

    Who fitted it?

It's all down to aftermarket exhausts which lower the back pressure...good for performance, bad for the OEM turbo's.

any turbo wants no back pressure at all,why do you think turbo motorbikes run no exhaust? if a turbo relies on back pressure for its sealing then its a sh*t turbo.(just my opinion).

I'm wondering whether that is it, on my Gsi i ran my Zlet turbo for a while on Ph1 with the precat there without probs then went to Ph2 precat removed more boost ect.. then pop!! VXR turbo next Ph3 2k then pop then Ph3.5 5k then pop!!! Either to much boost or poor turbos??

My new Astra VXR 20k no probs running Ph1, precat removed ect Ph2 500 miles pop!!! confused or what??

Now i'm back to a Gsi i'm running Ph1 with precat and Zlet turbo and fingers crossed no probs at the mo. so what is it thats really kills these turbos???
